Srinagar, January 30 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, a latest survey on schools has revealed that more than 50% government schools have no library facility. The survey was conducted in 2015-16 academic year.
The survey, conducted by National University of Educational Planning and Administration (NUEPA), revealed that though some schools have library facilities, 84 percent of them don’t have a librarian.
The figures have come to fore at a time when the school education department claims to focus on the reading ability of the students enrolled in government schools.
The figures prove the apathy of the puppet regime towards the basic needs of coming generations in Kashmir.
